The Alzheimer’s Society of New Brunswick is dedicated to supporting individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, their families and caregivers through education, advocacy, programs, and community outreach. We work to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and improve quality of life for those living with dementia.
We are seeking a motivated Marketing & Communications Intern to support our communications and fundraising efforts, with a key focus on the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s — the Alzheimer Society’s largest annual fundraising event in New Brunswick. This role offers hands‑on experience in nonprofit communications, event promotion, and community engagement.
Qualifications include:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Meta Business Suite).
Creative thinker with attention to detail.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

The job would include the student learning about coaching and teaching youth through creating practice plans, coaching different ages from 5-16 and analyzing video. The student would also be creating social media posts, educational videos, marketing, learning broadcasting and more.

Sous la supervision de la coordonnatrice, la personne monitrice participe à la planification, l’organisation et l’animation des activités du camp de jour. Elle encadre et supervise des groupes d’enfants âgés (5-12 ans).

-Planifier, organiser et animer des activités pour les enfants;
-Préparer les équipements requis aux activités du camp de jour;
-Assurer en tout temps la sécurité et le bien‐être des enfants;
-Faire respecter les règlements et procédures en vigueur;
-Administrer les premiers soins, au besoin;
-Participer aux réunions du personnel;
-Régler toute situation conflictuelle mineure.
-Élaborer un plan de communication et de promotion du projet;
-Assurer la compilation de données après chaque activité et contribuer à la reddition de compte du projet;
-Appuyer l’équipe dans des tâches liées à la mission du Collectif.

The Tennis Coach is part of a team responsible for the delivery of the Progressive Tennis Programs at Quispamsis Tennis.
1) Organize & publish registration system for junior players for After-School & Summer programs
2) Interface with parents re- all registration matters; website, Facebook & Online systems
3) Lead daily programs for juniors (4 - 14yrs)
4) Weekly club tournaments & games
5) Lead weekly free Adult & Senior tennis play & learn program
6) Coach Junior Team in Fundy Tennis League - (Tennis NB program)
7) Club website news updates, mailing lists, photos
8) Update of Club's Social Media sites (Facebook)
9) Maintenance of courts & clubhouse
10) Coordination of Tennis NB's events @ Quispamsis
11) Ensure Documentation & logging summer program
12) Manage and lead tennis instructors with the delivery of our programs
13) Coordinate the KidZone Daycare tennis weekly program
14) possibly the most important activity of leading our In School Try Tennis program for elementary schools.
