The Minto Community Youth Center (MCYC) is seeking a reliable and community-minded Summer Student. This is a hands-on role with a mix of independent work and opportunities to support youth programming and community activities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in their work and wants to help improve a community space that serves local youth and families. Applicants must:
•Be comfortable working independently, including in a quiet or unsupervised setting
•Be willing to perform physical tasks indoors and outdoors
•Have an interest in community development, youth programming, or event planning
Assets:
•Experience with tools, yard care, or cleaning
•Previous involvement in volunteer or youth programs
•First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to attend training if provided)
A weekly task list and check-ins will be provided. While most shifts will be weekdays, some weekend hours may be needed depending on events or fundraisers.

Stonehammer UNESCO Global Geopark is hiring a Geopark Interpreter. This role will focus on showcasing relevant natural and cultural history sites around the region, while operating primarily out of Saint John. The Geopark Interpreter will inform the public about what Stonehammer does, and educate on the environment, history, and culture of the region, while promoting sustainable tourism initiatives. Programming will be directed at both locals and tourists, and will include events that are free and low cost for the community.

Training will be provided; additionally, the candidate is expected to have excellent communication skills, be comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people, and work independently and with a team. Applicants of all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to apply.

Job Type: full-time, seasonal
Contract length: 12 weeks
Salary: $15.30-$16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 hours
