PALS Camp
PALS (Physical Activity and Literacy Skills) Camp is a summer program for kids aged 5–8 that uses physical education to teach literacy. Our goal is to prevent summer learning loss and improve literacy levels through fun, active, and engaging activities.
Position Details
As Camp Leader, you’ll create a safe and supportive environment for kids to thrive. You’ll assist in planning and delivering literacy activities combined with physical education, supervise staff, and inspire kids to meet their goals.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and implementing literacy activities integrated with physical education.
Assist in ensuring activities are fun and engaging for kids who may not love reading.
Build relationships with kids and foster teamwork, communication, and confidence.
Assist in supervising and motivating staff.
Maintain a safe and welcoming environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Monitor kids’ progress, collect feedback, and participate in mentoring.
