The Canteen Manager is responsible for operating/ working in the canteen at Chatham Ironmen Ball Park during the summer. Responsible for ordering all canteen supplies. Responsible to receive orders and stock canteen for all games held at Ironmen Park. ( includes minor baseball games, midget, junior and senior games and the Mens National Baseball Championship being held at Chatham Ironmen Park in August 2026. ) The manager supervises other canteen workers. The manager handles all canteen monies, prepares float for each game and turns over to Treasurer canteen monies on a weekly basis. The manager assists with game promotion and any prizes given out during games. The Manager is responsible to open and close canteen making sure all doors are locked. The Canteen Manager orders any supplies from the City that are needed for the ballpark ie washrooms/clubhouse. Flexible hours are a requirement for this position.
Hosting a National Baseball Tournament requires a lot of preparation and help.
