Skills permitting: Website creation and social media. Main responsibility for the maintenance of the park (e.g flowers, garbage removal, etc.).

The House/Program Assistant will support the physical, social, and emotional wellbeing of adults with intellectual disabilities ("core members"). The candidate may support core members at our homes and programs, McKim House, Creative Connections and L’Arche Connects.
At McKim House and through L’Arche Connects, the Assistant will assist core members as needed with daily activities, such as driving to work and appointments, preparing meals, cleaning the house, doing laundry and participating in leisure activities.
At Creative Connections, the Assistant will support the daily activities of the art studio and day program. This will include working on our garden program.
The Assistant is responsible to the House and Program Leaders.
The Assistant will participate in L'Arche community meetings and special events and help organize outings and celebrations. The Assistant will support core members with communication and emotional well-being, promote a welcoming atmosphere.
