Under the supervision of the Facilities Director, the student will do the general maintenance of municipal trails (lawn mowing, tree planting and maintenance of flower beds, and general maintenance, etc.) as well as the maintenance (painting and repairs) of municipal buildings. With the Trans-Canada Trail crossing the municipality as well as the increased use of our outdoor facilities, several projects are proposed during the spring and summer and an increase in maintenance is necessary. The student will also have the opportunity to work with the Director of Community Life during special events in order to assist and support their smooth running. For example, helping with set-up and tear-down, etc

Under the supervision of the Golf Course Manager, the student will be responsible for welcoming customers to the golf course and surrounding areas. Duties include customer service, product sales and rentals, food sales, answering calls, and ensuring the cleanliness of carts and the exterior of the pavilion. Additional tasks include picking up buckets at the driving range, washing golf balls from the driving range, assisting with the organization of the junior program, and supporting tournaments and special events.
The student may also, on occasion, assist with miscellaneous tasks and work as a “Starter/Marshal.”
