Support the daily operation of the community park by coordinating activities, supervising children, and maintaining a safe environment. Students must be outgoing, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include monitoring park cleanliness and safety, supervising children, and ensuring visitors are safe and well cared for. Students will assist with planning and delivering theme days (e.g. crafts, sports) Rainy days will require schedule changes. This position requires flexibility, including working at least one weekend every two weeks.
Experience in community services, recreation, or summer camps is an asset. CPR/First Aid, WHMIS, and safety training are required or must be obtained. Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset. Applicants must be current (see SEED program) and provide a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check.

This job is a hospitality and communication position for people with a passion for history and heritage.
The student will perform all tasks inherent to the opening, operations and closing of the MR21 (Monument of Recognition in the 21st century, interpretation center/museum of the cathedral of Moncton). He/she will memorize a lot of information about Acadie and the cathedral and communicate it, in both official languages, to visitors.
He/she will be in charge of selling tickets and items in the box office.
He/she will be responsible for updating the social networks on a weekly basis.
He/she will be required to travel to specific events, such as festivals, to offer a virtual tour of the cathedral using a virtual reality headset.
He/she will be asked to conduct research and participate in the cataloguing of documents in our archive center.

The technician will work with the Environment team to collect data during the field season. This may include watershed monitoring, biodiversity research in the local marine protected area, use of acoustic technology to record marine mammals, and more. Students also have the opportunity to learn about and train on topics and skills that interest them.
Primary Duties:
- Assistance with field work, incl. carrying equipment, recording data, collecting samples, handling fish, etc. May take place in remote areas and sometimes requires boating or ATV access, sampling in adverse weather conditions, walking for extended periods of time, flexible hours, etc.
- Data management including recording in the field and inputting in excel. Sample management incl. labelling, storage, sending, receiving
- Independent research
- Assistance in proper use, maintenance, storage of field equipment
- Other duties e.g. taking photos, assistance with drone exercises, etc.

Supports the Activity Director in delivering recreation programs for residents. Leads group activities such as games, crafts, music, exercise, and social events, and provides individualized one on one engagement. Assists with summer camps, intergenerational programs, and special events, including setup and cleanup. Encourages resident participation, maintains activity records, and helps organize supplies and equipment. Contributes to a positive, respectful, and engaging environment while interacting professionally with residents and staff.

Supports the Nursing Home Without Walls (NHWW) Lead in delivering community based programs for seniors in the Nashwaak Rural Community. Helps develop and implement a community engagement project or event designed to promote social connection, wellness, and participation among older adults living independently. Assists with planning and facilitating group activities, outreach efforts, and one on one engagement with seniors in the community.
Works collaboratively with the NHWW Lead and provides administrative support such as organizing materials, maintaining basic records, and assisting with program coordination. Contributes to a welcoming, respectful, and supportive environment while interacting professionally with seniors, community partners, and staff.

Supports the Nursing Home Without Walls (NHWW) program by assisting seniors in the community with outdoor maintenance and seasonal yard care. Key tasks include lawn mowing, weeding, basic gardening, raking, stacking firewood, and helping with other light outdoor household chores that promote safety and independence for older adults.
Works collaboratively with the NHWW Lead to plan tasks, coordinate visits, and ensure services are delivered respectfully and professionally. Contributes to a positive and supportive environment while maintaining safe use of tools, equipment, and outdoor spaces.

B) Local Community: Support local community programs. This includes planning, advertising, recruiting volunteers, and leading the programs. Activities encompass day camps, park outings, social outings, games, Bible stories, snacks. Also leading volunteers supporting these activities.

As this position will work within a cloud-based team, the worker will regularly initiate problem-solving with co-workers and will need to learn how to succeed in remote work modality, requiring documenting work on time sheets, using Slack, Trello, ZOOM, Google Classroom & Workspace
