ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Working with Public Works staff, the Public Works Helper will be responsible for providing light maintenance and landscaping with a focus on customer service. Key responsibilities:
• Painting municipal assets, such as fencing, hydrants and playground equipment
• Maintaining and weeding flower beds and lawn care maintenance
• Sweeping the yards
• Light duty general labour

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Demonstrated responsibility, leadership, organization and planning skills
• Capable of completing duties as assigned
• Possess a current clean Police Record with a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be friendly, outgoing and flexible
• Ability to lift and work outside in inclement weather
• To be eligible for the position, applicants must be returning to education in September of the current year.
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Previous experience in landscaping or work in a helping role
• Valid New Brunswick driver’s license.

Responsabilités principales :
Soutenir la planification et l’animation d’activités quotidiennes favorisant le développement global des enfants (social, émotif, cognitif, langagier, moteur et créatif).
Animer et encadrer diverses activités : lectures et causeries, chansons et exploration musicale, bricolage, jeux de rôles, activités artistiques, physiques et extérieures.
Participer aux sorties dans la communauté et aux activités à l’extérieur.
Encourager l’autonomie des enfants et soutenir les routines quotidiennes (repas, hygiène, effets personnels).
Collaborer à l’aménagement des espaces et à l’entretien du matériel et des équipements.

The Summer Ministries Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting the church’s summer ministry programming, with a primary focus on children, youth, and community engagement. This role works closely with pastoral staff and volunteers to ensure summer ministries are welcoming and aligned with the mission of the church to support the community.

Key responsibilities include coordinating Vacation Bible School and Trail Blaze Day Camp, recruiting and supporting volunteers, assisting with curriculum and event planning, managing schedules and logistics, and helping create safe, engaging environments for participants while ensuring that the Child Protection Policy is followed.

The Coordinator will provide on-site leadership during programs and assist with communication to families and volunteers. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and relational, with a passion for ministry. Previous experience in church, camp, or ministry settings is an asset.
