AX, the Arts and Culture Centre of Sussex is seeking an engaging Community Outreach Coordinator to develop and implement community outreach strategies in the spring/summer. The candidate will be responsible with facilitating summer activities throughout the Town of Sussex, coinciding with planned events such as Diversifest and the Atlantic Balloon Fiesta. These strategies will be developed while working closely with AX staff and organized with both staff and volunteers. The applicant will also work closely with members of other community organizations to plan programming around scheduled events. This role will ensure that arts and culture programming will reach underserved members of our community, focusing on youth, seniors, newcomers, low-income families, persons of colour and persons with disabilities.
