The student will be responsible for mowing the cemetery ,lawn at the Rectory and cleaning up the property when the mowing is done. The church needs to be vacuumed and dusted . The church hall also needs to be cleaned both before and after a rental. The student may be asked to paint steps, decks and ramps on the property.

will be maintaining fairgrounds through mowing, trimming, painting, cleaning buildings and grounds. Will also pick rocks, rake ring, clean out barns and perform minor plumbing, carpentry repairs. The person will also be responsible to prepare venue for events and interact with the groups renting the facility to show them where things are and supporting their needs while they are on site. Could involve a rotating schedule by working weekends for the events and having days off through the week.

Greens maintenance, mowing, seeding, fertilizing, weeding. Facility maintenance, painting interior and exterior of building. Repair decks and boards surrounding the green. Expansion of existing garden. Maintenance of three garden sheds and day-to-day maintenance of machinery and equipment. Prepares green for play, setting up rinks for competition on a daily basis. Following completion of play, puts all equipment away. May require student to assist with clinics to teach local elementary/middle school students the game of lawn bowls. Assist with local tournaments hosted by club. Assist with Provincial and Atlantic tournaments hosted by club. Assist with cleaning and sanitizing of club house.

In this role, you are part of the direct care team. You will be a huge help to our staff; you will get to know our residents on a personal level and help to brighten their summers.
You will report directly to the RN/LPN on the neighborhood.
They will have recommendations for you for those who need assistance that day.
Your first task may be to assist residents with their morning meals.
You will then be available to help care attendants

You will work closely with our in Community Events staff. Each morning when you arrive we ask that you check in the dining room to see if there is anyone who needs assistance with their meal. While assisting them, make sure you engage in conversation and help to make their dining experience pleasant. • Each morning, please update the activity boards with the day’s activities. • Check the calendar for upcoming events and prepare anything needed. • If something is on the calendar as an activity, you may be responsible for seeing it through from start to finish. If it’s on the calendar, use it as an indication that it is your responsibility. • When there are no scheduled activities, we ask that you be creative and engage the residents. Baking, dancing, etc (as long as residents are participating) to Take residents out for walks ¿ for residents living with Dementia activities involving the senses are very popular. They enjoy music, art, dancing, singing and one on one time.

Warehouse Responsibilities The warehouse assistant is responsible for:
• Unloading, receiving, evaluating worth, allocating and storing inventory in the accurate location.
• Stocking shelves for base box items ensuring that stock is rotated using best before date procedures.
• Keeping temperature logs on all equipment and notifying Warehouse Supervisor of any issues.
• General office duties including answering the telephone, taking messages, operating all office equipment effectively, and making out receipts when required.
• Meeting with perspective clients and gathering necessary information to ensure eligibility.
• Determining food needs and completing food menu with clients.
