- Eelgrass sampling (involves swimming and snorkelling)
Environmental restoration work will include:

- Implementation of sediment and erosion control measures
- Invasive plant eradication
- Garbage clean-ups (environmental litter)
Environmental protection will include:
- Creation of rain gardens and bioswales, with occasional weeding of existing projects
- Educational activities with school groups and/or public
The student will also assist with office work such as:
