The Camp leader will work closely with all staff to plan, prepare, and implement a recreational and educational Summer Camp for school aged children with Autism. They will be responsible for the daily operation of the camp, scheduling campers, researching age/skill appropriate activities, communicating with parents, coordinating with community partners, purchasing supplies, etc. They will work closely with the Director of ARM training in behavior management, reinforcement techniques, and Autism. The Leader will be punctual, use effective communication skills and be a strong role model for campers and staff. They will build trust with campers and their co-workers. The Leader will work with professionals and volunteers under the direction of the Director of ARM and in conjunction with the families. The Leader will assist with organizing the registration kits while working closely with all team members. He/she will act in a manner that is professional and positive.

Provides assistance to resident in activities of daily living.
Responds to resident call bells.
Assists residents at meal time including tray set-up, feeding and supervision.
Prepares and distributes snacks. Verifies individual diet guideline are follows
Ensures resident independence, safety, dignity and comfort
Assists residents with mobilization, range of motion and exercises as well as transports residents to and from in-house activities

Conduct and supervise resident recreation/leisure programs as set out by the Recreation
Deliver resident’s mail, newspapers, and parcels
Prepare facilities, equipment, supplies and other program materials for use by participants in recreation/leisure programs
Keep residents and/or sponsors aware of Recreation/Leisure program
Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time in the continuing operation of the Home.
