The Camp Leader will develop and lead inclusive, sensory-friendly activities for children and youth with autism. They will provide one-on-one and group support, ensuring a safe, engaging environment where participants can thrive. Responsibilities include planning recreational and educational programs, collaborating with staff and families, and maintaining safety protocols. This position fosters skill development, social interaction, and community inclusion. Ideal candidates are compassionate, adaptable, and familiar with autism support strategies. Training and supervision will be provided to ensure success in the role.

A successful Candidate's main duties will be to coordinate, conduct and supervise all summer camp activities alongside our regular coaching team. They will be responsible for the well-being of each athlete as well as creating a safe, fun and rewarding camp experience for each of them. Candidates must be fully bilingual and are certified in Gymnastics Foundations through the National Coaching Certification Program.

The Growing Place is a community garden / greenhouse project located in Crescent Valley, Saint John. It is operated by the Crescent Valley Resource Centre (CVRC), 130 MacLaren Blvd, Saint John.
The Community Garden Assistant will provide necessary assistance to the CVRC staff. This will include maintaining garden plots and common spaces, harvesting produce for the food bank, organizing the tool shed, leading recreational activities for children in the garden, participating in garden workshops, and completing other garden activities and tasks as necessary.
Assist in the following:
● Support volunteers in garden maintenance tasks (planting, watering, harvesting, composting, etc.)
● Run weekly activities in the garden for neighbourhood children
Qualifications / assets:
● Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
● Ability to lift and carry heavy, bulky garden tools and supplies
Mon - Fri., 35 hrs per week @ $16.50 per hr.

1) Live in a cabin with 8-12 campers.
2) Assume responsibility for the health and welfare of campers entrusted into your care, with special attention to personal hygiene, health and safety; camper participation in camp activities; camper behavioural management; and cabin cleanliness.
3) Assume responsibility for building community in the cabin, with special attention to: building up self-worth of individuals; facilitating relationships between campers; and encouraging a high level of morale.
4) Lead camp activities with campers, ensuring an environment that is both safe and fun.

1) Assist the Horsemanship Coordinator with barn maintenance, horse care, and maintaining horse-related gear and fences.
2) Teach riding lessons and horsemanship theory sessions to campers.
3) Lead trail rides with campers.
4) Exercise horses as needed.
5) Assist with all horsemanship-related activities, including end-of-week rodeo relay races.
6) Help maintain a safe, clean and enjoyable barn environment.

1) Must be certified with current NLS and Standard First Aid/CPR-C.
2) Must be 16 years of age or older.
3) Responsible for lifeguarding during swim times, protecting and promoting the safety of all individuals in the pool or waterfront area and administering first aid as necessary.
4) Responsible for vacuuming, water testing, and general cleanliness of the pool.

1) Must be certified with Standard First Aid/CPR-C or higher, preferred minimum completion of one year of nurse education
2) Respond to emergencies such as injuries
3) Respond to illnesses of campers and staff; advise Directors as to staff or campers who should be sent home to recuperate from illness or to avoid spreading contagious disease
4) Inform cabin leaders of any campers with special needs (e.g. allergies) and how to assist with them
5) Collect, store and administer all medication securely for campers and staff and return at end of week
6) Chart in log book: medication administered, all injuries, treatments and follow-up
7) Inspect camp and report any safety hazards or concerns to camp directors
8) Monitor basic health practices of campers and staff (e.g. camper hand washing, bathroom cleanliness, wearing sunscreen and hats); instruct in these areas as necessary
9) Promote safety in all aspects of camp, reporting accidents and recommending prevention measures as needed

Environment Tecnician will contribute to various projects around the Pokemouche River watershed areas, The candidate will participate in water restoration projects and selective water ways obstructions , and installation of ecological structures. Task will involve recording of data and informing the public on environemtal impacts and good practices.

La personne choisie sera responsable des tâches suivantes : collaborer à l’organisation des activités des camps de jour ; animer les activités et prévoir le matériel nécessaire ; encadrer et supervise des groupes d’enfants ; assurer la sécurité de leur groupe lors des activités régulières et des sorties; travailler à l’occasion sur des événements de la saison estivale et toutes autres tâches assignées par votre gestionnaire immédiat.

La personne choisie sera responsable des tâches suivantes : assurer l'entretien paysager tel que la tonte de gazon, l'arrosage des fleurs et le désherbage; participer à l’entretien des bâtiments et des infrastructure, la réalisation de menus travaux tel que la peinture et toutes autres tâches assignées par votre gestionnaire immédiat. La personne choisie devra être cappable des travaux physiques et manuels et être capable de soulever jusqu'à 20kg.
