Working closely with the EFP coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks, which may include, but not limited to:
• Contact agricultural producers about the Environment Farm Plan program by phone and email;
• Manage daily & monthly scheduling of farmer meetings and workshops;

• Promote the Environmental Farm Plan and Beneficial Management Practices within the agricultural sector

This role will assist the team by developing short-form video content. The assets will be used to tell our stories within our socials and written communications for an audience of donors and community-focused individuals and groups. We have capacity for LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.

1. Collaborate with staff to identify issues and brainstorm solutions to bring energy and higher engagement to our audiences (via socials and communications).
2. Support and enhance the social media & communications strategies with the staff leads.
3. Adapt existing information from volunteers, donors, agencies, and community members (to be used in video content).
4. Design, edit, and develop short-form video content.
5. Compile data to report on the success of socials and recommend opportunities to improve (e.g., how many viewers).

We need someone who loves to work outside most of the time in a community garden and wants to learn about plants. We have planting season then a lot of weeding. After it's harvesting the final product and all kind of work in between. Some who doesn't mind getting there hands dirty. It's also good relaxing therapy

Our Summer Ministry Intern will work along side our permanent staff to share the love of God with children, youth and Seniors. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to use the gifts and talents God has given them to develop relationships and have an impact on the lives of others. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Board field staff with the delivery of Provincial and SNB Forest Management funded silviculture programs to woodlot owners.
o Responsibilities will include but are not limited to seedling care, layout and supervision of scarification, tree planting, thinning, herbicide, and alternative timber harvesting, assisting with data collection for forest management plans, etc.
• Measuring treatment sites using GPS and collecting and analyzing pre/post treatment data.
• Communicate regularly with woodlot owners and silviculture contractors to ensure treatments are carried out correctly to meet eligibility criteria.
• Communicate regularly with the Silviculture Manager to ensure that organizational and silviculture objectives are being met.
• Generate required electronic and hard copy documentation of all authorized treatments in a timely and accurate manner.
