Working with individuals with disabilities. You are paired with one person and work one-on one with that person weekly. This includes participating with group activities, private therapies and free play including various excursions throughout the town. Children may require personal care, assistance with hygiene etc. You will journal your time noting likes/dislikes, breakthroughs, frustrations, outcomes of therapeutic interventions. Training will be provided and at the end of each day there will be a debriefing and time for you to write in your journal. |You will be required to help with set-up and clean up at the beginning and end of each day. The position is a demanding one that requires your full attention. Focus at all times must be on your person.
